Following legislation to reverse the Mazars ‘staircase tax’ ruling, Hanway Commercial have been successful in ‘re-merging’ several rating assessments at St Katherine Dock, London, E1 on behalf of our client Clarkson PLC.

As a result the merged assessment for both the 2010 & 2017 Rating has reduced the client liability by approximately 7.5%, resulting in a significant refund for overpayment dating back to 2014.
